Inside Sales Representative
SUMMARY
The position of Inside Sales Representative has the primary responsibility to create new business opportunities and manage current clients to drive growth for NWI Global. The Inside Sales Representative will assist in executing the existing sales strategy and perform in accordance with monthly/quarterly/yearly goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Initiate telephone and email contact with prospective clients, including outbound and inbound leads.
- Consistently achieve and exceed assigned account expansion goals.
- Forecast revenue and manage sales opportunities.
- Work with marketing and production teams to create account plans, responses to RFPs, SOWs, and ballpark estimates.
- Pre-sales prospecting, targeting, developing, and qualifying prospective clients.
- Keep accurate and current records of prospective and existing client data including names, titles, phone numbers, addresses, and other relevant information.
- Research prospective clients through several tactics including internet research, trade shows, social media, referrals, professional directories, and personal investigation.
- Educate prospective and existing clients regarding our services.
- Negotiate rates and deadlines with prospective and current clients.
- Take responsibility and accountability for designated clients.
- Collaborate with production teams to define internal and external expectations, and align those expectations to specific deliverables.
- Consistently follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality, and customer service.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s service offerings, competitive positioning, and industry trends.
- Positively represent the company at conferences and strategic marketing events.
- Travel throughout the United States for prospect/client meetings, conferences, and trade shows. Up to 25% of annual travel.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
- Attend sales or trade meetings for continuing education and training.
- Read related publications to obtain information about market conditions, business trends, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies and marketing information.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications or a related field.
- Two (2) years of proven experience in B2B sales.
- Ability to produce leads on their own.
- Ability to find and close new business opportunities.
- Proven track record of meeting quota.
- Experience in CRM & sales enablement tools.
- Superior pre-call planning, opportunity qualification, and objection handling skills.
- Persistent and professional relationship management skills.
- Skilled at working in a fast-paced, high-energy working environment.
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills.
- Ability to think outside the box and come up with solutions on their feet.
- An unrelenting drive to learn, succeed, and lead by example.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent project, time and self-management skills.
COMPENSATION
Base plus uncapped commission.
